The Combined Authority, which comprises of the Mayor, representatives of the five West Yorkshire Councils, York Council and the Chair of the West Yorkshire Business Board, meet collectively to take strategic, policy and investment decisions.
The Combined Authority has appointed a number of committees which oversee specific thematic policy areas including:
- Climate, Energy and Environment
- Culture, Heritage and Sport
- Economy
- Place, Regeneration and Housing
- Transport
All of these meetings are held in public and the agendas, reports and minutes are published for transparency and can be accessed on the committees and meetings section of our website.
The Combined Authority have an agreed process for identifying and dealing with exempt information which is set out set out in the Access to Information Annex contained within the Constitution.
All our meetings are webcast for transparency and you can watch them live or view past webcasts in our archive.
