Bus passengers reminded that most services will return to Bradford Interchange on January 5
More than 80 per cent of services will return to the Interchange following closure on safety grounds
31 December 2024
Bus passengers in Bradford are being reminded that most services will be returning to the Interchange bus station when it reopens on January 5.
More than 80 per cent of all services – 47 in total - will be running from Bradford Interchange, with just eleven services remaining on-street for the time being.
The remaining services will return to the Interchange once resurfacing works are completed, which is expected to be in April 2025. They will continue to depart from Hall Ings and Nelson Street in the meantime.
Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin said:
"We’re really looking forward to welcoming back passengers to the Interchange – they’ve shown real patience since we made the decision to close on safety grounds.”
Real time information screens for returning services will be available at the bus station and on-street once it reopens.
