Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime responds to PEEL antisocial behaviour report

The policing response to antisocial behaviour - PEEL spotlight report has today (10/10) been published by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS)

Responding to the findings, West Yorkshire’s Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime Alison Lowe OBE said:

“As our consultation on the next Police and Crime Plan for West Yorkshire continues, tackling antisocial behaviour is already emerging as a top priority.

“This latest national report validates the direction we are heading, and it is particularly encouraging that West Yorkshire Police is cited as an example of good practice.

“From data analytics to injunctions for anti-social use of vehicles, there are some really positive indicators locally, but we know there is still much more we can achieve in partnership.”
